  1. I can't remember who posted about pepperoni chips, but THANK YOU!

They suggested simply microwaving a bunch of pepperoni slices to make them
crunchy. Very simple, very quick, very delicious, VERY low carb!
    Incredible!

Whoever you are, thank you for the tip!

  4. the Hormel turkey pepperoni is spicier and less fat. Also you can put
shredded cheddar in a frying pan fry it on med to med hi til bubbly and
and a bit golden and the grease runs out, turn it fry again on other
side and drain on a coffee filter. Let cool and it eats like a cheezit
craker or you can put the coffee filter on an inverted bowl and let
cool so it is bowl shaped and use for edible salad bowl.

A note of warning on this great snack: pepperoni contains LOTS of
sodium. That's not necessarily a problem, but it may cause you to
retain water for a day or so. Just a heads up so you don't freak when
you get on the scale the next day.

  6. Okay, this is why this is a great support group! Keep the ideas coming! I
would have never thought to put melted cheese in a coffee filter to make a
    salad bowl!

By the way, the "zero carb" ranch dressing from Kraft is awesome to dip
    those pepperoni chips in!

    I appreciate that. I won't freak out because I don't use a scale. For
**ME** the scale is simply a measurement of how my mass and gravity
interact. The big measurement for me is that great feeling when your pants
loosen up and you can see less and less of your belly button outline through
    your golf shirt. LOL!

  8. try sprinkling some sesame seeds on em while they are bubbly and hot.
    Nice nutty flavor too!

I make my cheese crackers in the oven, on parchment paper; that way they
don't have to be flipped. And they taste great made with sharp cheddar,
baked with some "heat" on them (chili powder for me) and then dipped in sour
    cream!

I do mine with mozzarella, garlic salt, and basil. I haven't tried
parchment paper, I just do them in the toaster oven on a tray sprayed
    with no-stick spray.

No need to go overboard on it. Calories still count.
