Thanx, that is some good advice, according to that I am resonably right
then, I really try to spin, and sit alot. I find I mess myself up really
quick when I stand. I only stand when it is so steep that I can not sit
with 39/25 which does not happen often. Well, I relieve my [censored] a bit
now and then though too. 🙂

Well yeah I figured it was a gear ratio... but it's a bit different to
the 42/23 I climb in... Hehehe it's nice being small, and having that
backup option of shifting to 30/23 hahahahahaha....

Tam, wondering if something with 25 teeth could eat her

hey Claes, there's a good book on "Strine" by Arfabeck Lauder (Lorder?)at Borders....I guess in translation, Tam means a "heavy", a gravity challenged person, as the Yanks say...a "lard [censored]".... and well we may think that, but WE (ever so polite native strine users) ,would never say it about anyone of course!! (Thank you House of Cards"
    cheers Roo😄

A 90kg roady. Ie: Way too heavy. A steamtrain is
big, heavy, good on the flat, fast downhill, very slow up hills
and makes a "choof choof" noise.

    You have a triple?

Yep! My Felt (The Silver Bullet) came with it 53/42/30. Do you think I
am motivated enough to make such changes? Do you think the mass and
radial distribution of something so itty-bitty makes a difference,
compared to my complete lack of skill?

My Learsport (The Dozer, because it's my wet weather and commuting bike,
and I like to think it'll crush the opposition) is only a double, but
    it's a 39 instead of a 42. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if it's a
53 or a 52... Absent Husband seems to know more about my bikes than I
do, maybe I should ask him!

    Quoted message said:

Even *I* (the world's -worst- climber) don't run a triple!
Got a 12-27 though .... for if I ever get conned into
riding BawBaw ... (yeah right, that's what my VFR is for! I'll
motorpace you up it 🙂 )

I think I could challenge you for that title. Oh wait... sorry Absent
Husband :P (it's okay, he knows I'm just stirring).

I'm amazed that triathlete would have a triple. You don't race on

The bike came with it fitted. At the time I didn't even know if I would
like cycling, or if I would end up quitting triathlon and turning to the
dark side. So why bother getting stuff on/off it? It's not like I knew
anything about bikes when I bought it. Hmmmm but I love my bike soooooo
    much it's fast and sexy!

I have used it. It's nice for a few of the climbs around my area, which
pop up steeply out of the surrounding flat area. It means I spin. I like
    spinning.

Nah, I loose weight when I do not train, I loose muscle bascially. Need to build muscle to incraese weight. So, more cycling, proper heavy legs then. 😉
