He he, I was working my way up to a harsh reply here, my work mates tell me it is someone smoking dope. 🙂 I do not smoke anything,
period.
If you ask them what a "bonk" is they'll give you a different explanation than you'll get here too 🙂

Lightweight!
Ha ha, I tried to explain the bonk concept to my girlfriend. She was suspicious at first. 🙂
It's quite easy to distinguish between "we bonked" and "we bonked" by whether the person is smiling or wincing.

Tam[/QUOTE] Hmm, when I have been out with people that bonked, it never happens groupwise, people always bonk on their own so there is rarely you can say. "We bonked" anyway, so saying I bonked, can that be misinterpreted for me having a w*ank?

Well yeah I figured it was a gear ratio... but it's a bit different to the 42/23 I climb in... Hehehe it's nice being small, and having that backup option of shifting to 30/23 hahahahahaha....
You have a triple?
Even *I* (the world's -worst- climber) don't run a triple! Got a 12-27 though .... for if I ever get conned into riding BawBaw ... (yeah right, that's what my VFR is for! I'll motorpace you up it 🙂 )

Tam, wondering if something with 25 teeth could eat her
Who're you callin a REDNECK?
I have a triple...came as standard on the OCR although I've yet to use the granny gear except in moments of giggling silliness. (lookit, 120rpm@walking pace!Wheeeeeee!) I have come across hills before I got that bike that might cause me drop into it though. They were noticeably steeper than the ones that had me trolling the bottom of the cassette on the middle ring. Damned if I know what that ratio is though.

Not necessarily 🙂
And didn't I cop a lot of [censored] from my colleagues, when I showed up limping yesterday, and a short while later, so did Mark (fellow distance runner, and office mate).

Ah, I've never heard it used that way... but anyway, no shame in that. In fact if you pulled that off while cycling (no pun intended) it'd be impressive, in a funny way...

All you need is a colnago and a world champion jersey.
I'd love for Ullrich to come well prepared and SLIM to the fekking tour. Not like some obese McDonalds Junkie. 🙂 I think he has more inherent talent in him than any of the others, if he just was as driven as some of the others.

True hes shown up at the Tour unprepared many a time but he´s not as fat as what hes made out to be by then. Paul "Butthead" Sherwin and Phil "Beavis" Ligget have almost kept that myth going all by themselves.
Nah, I loose weight when I do not train, I loose muscle bascially. Need to build muscle to incraese weight. So, more cycling, proper heavy legs then. 😉
Same exact thing happens to me. Though im a bit shorter and weigh a bit less than you. Is 81 kilos that underweight for someone 6´2? Its not that extreme is it? [censored] over here in The Netherlands you would fit right in. Most guys are tall and slim. Makes Australians look even shorter and fatter.

Well, that is correct, he has never been fat or anything but just pretty out of shape, and the fatness has maybe become an exponent of that?

Hmm, I do not dare to comment on Australians features since I am in Oz, but I am swedish, we are also resonably tall and slim. I am not underweight at all. I think I am quite normal, resonably fit.

Some of us are proud to be shorter and fatter. Why, I think I'll go to the pub and work on that beer gut!
