What is the best way to cook a ham steak. I bought one today that isn't very thick. Thanks...Sharon
Ain't the only way but it's the *best* way... in a large fry pan... fried in butter, with six eggs surrounding. Serves two, or me. And I don't want to hear about any fercocktah grits or stinkin' red eye gravy. Hash browns, okay.

Yep, in a big frying pan. No grits! Ick! I'm with ya on the hash browns.

Grits would be "OK", but you've got it. Hash browns are much better. *NOT* home-fries, either. Real Hash browns.
BOB
What do you define as "Real" Hash Browns?
