Yes, it's not about fast, it's about *healthy eating and exercise over
the long term*. It's about changing your eating habits before they
change you (as a type 2 diabetic, I speak from experience here...),
forcing yourself to develop the discipline to eat what's good, saving
the garbage for occasional treats, and getting up and moving, *even if
you start with just a 15-minute walk a day*. That's what I did last July
when I was diagnosed D-2. I've since controlled my D-2 with diet and
exercise only, lost 31 pounds (eating 40-50 grams of carb per meal in a
balanced diet, with much to go!), walk a minimum of thirty minutes a
day, play soccer and am now working with a personal trainer 3 times a
week to further help me along...

But what it *starts* with is "today I will eat three good meals, and go
    for a quick walk."

Good luck! If I can do it, believe me, so can you!

Golly, maybe that's why they came here. For a person who claims to have
a big brain, you should be able to figure that out.

Haircut. Take off your clothes. Take a dump.

Your questions should be a bit more specific.

Other than that, you do need to cut the carbs. Follow a diet best suited.
Low Carb is almost always Atkins. The book, if followed, works. And works
FAST. But as anything, it is not easy.

    Welcome, and good luck.

Off the top of my head and without any other information to go on, I'd
recommend changing your screenname to something a little more friendly
    and less suspicious.
