This month I seem to be back to a 1 pound per week rate, but last month was
about 2 pounds per week. Back when I was 300, ten pounds made a barely
observable change. Now, ten pounds is radical. As I approach goal range
the change in my looks seems to accelerate.
Last month my hands seemed strange and alien. This month my forearms feel
odd. I can place my hand around my wrist and it feels like someone else's.
I'm now back to a weight last visited in the mid 1980's.
I got tired of going to TOPS meetings, so I stopped going. However, my one
month there was interesting.
Once a month, I attend an electronics flea market. It involves an hour of
walking. This month was the first where I was not in pain after scanning
all the booths.
Twice in the last two weeks I have had my ID challenged by store clerks. My
VISA card has my picture on it. They asked if this was me, and then wanted
to see additional ID.
I used to divide household chores like vacuuming across several days.
Yesterday, I vacuumed the whole house at once and was not in pain.
I got the second phase of paperwork from the National Weight Control
Registry. They do ask a lot of biased questions. However, the scope of the
questions does convey an idea of what I'm doing.
