highest pubs?

far.

Don't know off hand, bur Wanlockhead and Leadhills are both around 1,300
feet, Dalwhinnie and Braemar over 1,100?

Locally, The Deerplay between Bacup and Burnley is reputed to be in
there somewhere. Not sure how high but it has to be around 1300 ft

Try the New Inn in Flash, Staffordshire. The village is about 1,500ft high
IIRC. There's another one nearby but the name escapes me right now,

There are a few around there... Cat and Fiddle is the usual candidate
to the second spot.

IIRC Wanlockhead has no pub - is this true? There was a licenced shed
near the road up Lowther Hill, but it looks ruined now. There is one
in Leadhills.

The pub at Flash Bar, just down the road from Flash, should be in
there. It's not over 160ft lower than the New Inn.
