This is a true story that I will yuk-yuk over forever.

While standing at the meat counter one day I noticed a lady agonizing
over packaged chicken parts. She had picked up a package of chicken
legs. So I asked her if she was looking for right legs or left legs.
She looked at me like I was kidding so I explained that when a
chicken roosts it tucks its head under a wing, stands on one leg and
sleeps. "So what does that mean?", she asked. I explained that the
leg the chicken stands on all night is over developed and muscular
and tends to be more tough. "How can you tell which is which?", she
asked. I shrugged and said the best thing to do would be to ask the
meat market man. /so she rang the bell and when he showed up I sort
of slunk off; would have given anything to listen in on the
conversation but didn't want to get involved.

I was wondering the other day if he was ill, since he hadn't posted in
some time. Hope he is at peace, and that St. Mavis is doing okay.

recovered.

This is sad news. Moosemeat was part of the fabric of rfc. He will be
greatly missed. Sue, is there a snail mail address where we can send a
sympathy card to Moosemeat's family?
