Hi guys.
You may remember I posted looking for recommendations on road bikes and
that I was going to go for the Dawes Giro 300?
Well I visited my local bike shop primarily to get sized up for the Dawes
however the largest frame size for the Giro 300 (55cm) was too small for
me.
So after much discussion and pondering I opted for the Lemond Etape in 57cm
frame:

The bike has Lemond 6061 Aluminum frame with Carbon Fibre fork, and I've
ordered the bike with triple chainrings at the front (52/42/30), and I'm
going to get the shop to fit Shimano M520 SPDs. (which is what I have on
the MTB)
Hopefully the bike should be ready for collection Tuesday / Wednesday so I
should have the bike for the cycling club run on Saturday.
Tell you something though, this cycling is an expensive hobby!
:-o
Still it is only money, better to spend it on something I enjoy.
Regards
