After dropping the dog off at the groomer this morning, I figured I was
so close to Kings Grant, how could I not ride. I had a little more
than our before I would be considered missing, so the goal was to see
how much I could accomplish on the singlespeed in one hour. Granted
this place is flat, but it made for a good workout.
The trail was nice and frozen.

This place is really best in the winter when the sand is frozen. In the
summer it's like riding on the beach.

I tried to work in as many "hills" as I could to get some kind of
workout. The trail was very fast, and being all alone felt pretty good.

A thin sheet of ice covers the cranberry bog. I stop in my little
fortress of solitude and ponder the day.

Twelve miles in 45 minutes and without switching a single gear. I can
live with that.
