fitday.com is free. he can use it to track his calories for a while. If he
tracks carefullly for a week or two, while his weight is not changing, then
he'll learn his maintenace level. Then it can work on eating less - say 500
kcal less, plus doing about 500 kcals or exercise per day. that should
produce about a two pounds of weight loss per week, give or take.
what does he weigh?
