Restoring gum brake hoods

You could try something like Armor-all, but if there's already cracks, its

Armorall will slow the deterioration. Nothing will un-crack
them.

Nexttime, clean them with a mild soap and armorall
occasionally for longer life.

(I am too lazy to do tinyurl). You probably can still find some
old SunTour, DiaCompe or Modolo that will fit, if you want to go
that way. Skip trying to find the Campagnolo, because they are
now, apparently, collector's items. They were even expensive
back in the day, and that is why all my old and abandoned NR
