I have a rather aggressive wattle bird that likes to attack me as I ride
past Alamain Station. It's only popped up in the last week.

had to sic the regional council on to a pair of magpies on my commute.
They never got me by surprise, but it near impossible to hold a straight
line with one coming at you, all on a busy highway. No place to be
weaving about. Luckily (for me, not them) in NZ they are considered to
be a bit of a pest animal and the local authority will come and deal to
them if you ask. Which I did.

We had an insane mynah fly into the bunch last night. Bounced off one guy's back wheel, into another's front wheel, then hit the pavement in a cloud of feathers. I'd have sworn it was dead, but it wasn't there next lap.

Must be the season for birdie testosterone or something.

and he rides an On-One?? All news levels of respect for the man!!!

I can only think of three people who'd do a 1200 - possibly a PBP - on
a single speed. Pete Penseyres, Lon Haldeman and Susan Notorangelo.
Charlie Miller did the second PBP in 1901 on a SS but that's a tad
early methinks...:-)

who've done PBP on a SS, only Americans.
