  1. I heard if you have high Blood pressure, you shouldn't be taking Potassium
    pills, is that right?
2 weeks into LC, and my legs feel so heavy,,,,should I continue on the
    Potassium pills?
    Thanks.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist about YOUR blood pressure
medication. Some meds are potassium-sparing, some are not. Which
medication you're on is going to effect whether or not potassium
supplementation is going to be necessary.

    Measure your blood pressure.

Not quite right. If you are taking specific high blood pressure
medications you shouldn't be taking potassium pills. If you
just have untreated high blood pressure, you have no reason to
    avoid potassium.

If you're on BP pills, check with your pharmacist to see if
it is one of the old fashioned diruetic types that interact
    with potassium.

If you're on BP pills check with your pharmacist or doctor,
and get your BP checked. BP drops for a lot of low carbers
enough they can reduce their dosage, sometmes even taper off.

If you're not on BP pills, switch to Lite Salt. It takes a
dozen wimpy tablets to be worth taking, or one teaspoon of
    Lite Salt.

You can't seriously leave this to answers on an NG can you? High BP and
meds, and potassium are fairly serious stuff better left to your doc.

And of course, from a practical standpoint, the OTC potassium
supplements are a max of a couple percent of the daily reqt anyway.
So, if you're only taking these at the recommended dosage, it's not
going to make much difference either way.
