Hi everyone,
I've been lurking in this group for a while now so I thought it was
time to introduce myself.
Im a 34 year old male 5'8" and currently weigh in at 214lbs
I started Atkins about 3 years ago and had some considerable success
having lost approximately 40 lbs over 8 months. I was reasonably happy
with that loss and I balanced the diet so that I was maintaining that
weight. Approximately a year ago I lost the path slightly and the
pounds started to creep back on :-(
So back to the present, I decided to go back on Induction about 2
months ago weighing 216lbs. Stuck to induction rigorously for 2 weeks
and I lost about 1 pound if I was lucky (was in ketosis from about day
3). Have increased the carbs slightly by adding more vegetables and
had one slight blow out when I had a few too many glasses of red wine.
I'm essentially sticking to the diet that I done a few years ago but
as you can see I've only lost 2lbs in 2 months. Ketostix are still
purple and I'm drinking plenty water.
I'm starting to get really frustrated about this now and considering
packing it in. I logged about a weeks worth of my typical diet in
fitday (minus the wine, only done that once in 2 months).

As you can see I'm probably not eating my 10 x 214 calories per day
although as an experiment I did eat about 2000 a day for 1 week and it
didn't make any difference.
I'd be really grateful for your expert advice on this.
Thanks in advance
Danlo
