New!! Air photography for Anquet Maps.
On September 24th, Anquet launched a new series of air photography products
covering the whole of Britain south of the Scottish Lowlands. The initial
six products in the range correspond to the areas covered by the Anquet
1:50,000 series and provide the perfect addition to the existing product
range. Photo Map products can be used in conjunction with any other Anquet
product, at any scale.
The new range offers some really useful features, including the capability
to overlay names of mountains and hills as well as place names over the
photos at the click of a mouse. Users can now view the Anquet Virtual
LandscapeTM with either real landscape images or Ordnance Survey maps. Visit
www.Anquet.co.uk to see further details of this exciting development and to
order Photo Maps from the Anquet on-line shop.
Current users can download a 100 square kilometre sample of aerial
photography as a "map pack" which is available in the updates area, free of
charge. To access this feature you will first need to download the latest
software.
Major expansion of 1:25,000 Series
Anquet will shortly announce details of a significant increase in the number
of 1:25,000 scale products available. New titles in England and Wales will
carry aerial photography and will include new CRoW access land as it is
opened. News of this major event will be circulated shortly and details will
be posted on the Anquet web site.
