(Instead of Map Man in Wales)
Well Mapman was finally on last night in Wales! Yippee! Don't you
reckon he's just waited for the worst weather forecast on purpose?
And what did you think of that 4 day race in Borneo last week? Starting
with a run up and down a mountain half the size of Everest! Now that
looked like terrific fun (if it wasn't so hard), especially the bit at
the top.
But they aren't exactly choosing "average joe's" for these programs are
they? I mean, he claimed to be a bit unfit but he wasn't exactly a
flabby couch potato now was he?
Tonight at 8:00pm another average joe (a mountain bike instructor) is
going to climb Everest!
Followed at 9pm by British Isles: A Natural History. Last week's
programme showed a lot of good stuff in Scotland. This time, at the
regional bit at the end of the programme, Welsh viewers get to see Iolo
Williams exploring Cwm Idwal.
If you want to see all the different regional variations in one
programme, check out British Isles: A User's Guide to Natural History on
BBC4 at 10:50pm.
