I'm saying Marathon Training programs for Beginners, First Time Entry Level
Runners, demand at minimum 75% more mpw than what you're talking about (20
mpw).
In your post you said nothing that suggested you're capable of doing a Sub 4hr,
or that you're aware of the appropriate trianing for you to do a sub 4, so if I
had to bet, I would say "no"...you're not going to sub 4 on your 20 mpw
program.
You need to follow a marathon training program my friend...it's that
simple...and 20mpw is a long way from a marathon training program to take the
entry level beginner runner to a Sub 4.
to be real honest with you...based on what i've heard you say to this
point....you should not give a damn about your marathon time. just enter one,
and finish it without walking if possible and be happy with that.
then....define a time target/goal on your second marathon.
