In general think of penned in fish being fed chemicals to grower bigger
faster. This doesn't cover the raw excretion from those fish that go
into the water.Stuff "eating farmed fish" in a search engine and have a good read.

I believe the fish pellets are made from ground fish (among other
things) and are highly concentrated forms of food to grow the farmed
fish to market size quickly. The concentrating process increases the
intake and thus the absorption of toxins moreso than in a wild fish. -

As they say in the movies, what you don't know can kill you.

Conversly, what you *do* know may cause you years of unnecessary anxiety.
I'd rather trust my family history than a single blood test.

Now that Tim, is " head in sand philosophy." And you used to be close to
medicine, frightening. People closest to the medical world make the
worst patients.-Doug

I'd never been tested either until 2 weeks ago, when a "health fair"
(including free cholesterol screenings) was held at my work. I had no
idea how insanely healthy I am. I'll probably end up one of those
demented old people who just...won't...die...joe positive :-)
