OT; I despair!

  1. Just been to a newly refurbed pub/restaurant. It was like an oven so I
    turned off the thermostatic valve on the Sizewell B radiator next to us, did
    no good so eventually turned off the screw valve as well. Another diner
    nearby complained it was too hot; so they turned the air conditioning on!!

    The other thing that annoys me is gas heaters at tables outside.

    he-he - think of the wasted money when they get the plumber out to fix the
    'broken' radiator :-)

    the summer rather than wait for it to work in the terminus all the

    You're supposed to open the windows for the first few minutes when the
    car has been parked in the sun, but close them again *before* you switch
    on the a/c. Lets out the extreme heat first.
