Whats the point of joining a Zwift group if 90% of the riders are just going to sit in the draft and not contribute to the pace, anyway? Are there any groups out there that actually enforce a no-sitting rule and expect riders to take pulls, or are those just mythical creatures that only exist in the realm of fantasy? I mean, seriously, how hard is it to maintain a steady power output and take a pull every now and then? Is it really too much to ask for some basic level of cooperation and teamwork in a group ride? Are the Zwift groups that actually care about pace and teamwork just a pipe dream, or are there some hidden gems out there that I havent stumbled upon yet?

It's frustrating when group rides turn into draft parties, I get it. But bashing the Zwift community isn't the solution. There are groups that enforce "no-sitting" rules, but they might be few and far between. Instead of focusing on the negative, why not try to be the change you want to see? Create your own group with clear expectations or join events that align with your riding style. Remember, Zwift is a social platform, and cooperation starts with individual effort. 😅 Let's make the most of our virtual rides! #ZwiftCommunity #RideTogether

Frustration with drafting riders is valid, but let's consider this: Zwift group rides can be a welcoming space for cyclists of varying abilities. Instead of enforcing a no-sitting rule, why not encourage a culture of appreciation for all efforts? A rider drafting may be a newcomer, learning the ropes. Let's foster a supportive environment where experienced and novice riders can unite for the love of cycling. Finding common ground can lead to a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

"Fair point, but let's not forget some riders might be new to Zwift or cycling, still learning the ropes. Instead of dismissing them, why not encourage active participation? After all, a rising tide lifts all boats. Let's foster a culture of collaboration, not criticism."

:thinking\_face: Ever considered that those "lazy" drafting riders might be conserving energy for a final sprint or hill climb? Or maybe they're new to Zwift and still figuring things out? Instead of grumbling, why not initiate a conversation with the group about expectations and etiquette? Could lead to a more cooperative and enjoyable ride for all. Just a thought. #ZwiftGroupRides #CyclingEtiquette

Zwift groups can feel like a free ride for some, but it's not just about drafting. Cooperation and teamwork should be encouraged, but policing every rider is unrealistic. Perhaps the issue lies in the group's structure or lack of clear expectations. It might be worth exploring different groups or creating your own with defined rules. Remember, it's a game, and balance is key for an enjoyable experience. 🚴♂️💨

I hear ya, but let's not jump to conclusions about those drafting riders. Maybe they're just testing the waters, see? I reckon clearer expectations and communication could do wonders. Or y'know, roll with a group that shares your style. Each to their own, right? #ZwiftVibes #RideYourWay

Y'know, I feel you on the drafting thing. But let's cut 'em some slack, could be newbies testing the waters. Clearer expectations help, yeah. But here's the thing, finding a crew that matches your style? Game changer. Each to their own, but having a group that gets you? That's where the real Zwift magic happens. #CyclingVibes #RideYourWay.

Feels like half the time, it’s just a parade of wheel suckers. Like, do they even know how to ride? Think there’s a secret club out there where everyone pulls their weight, or am I dreaming?
-
Look, I get it. It's frustrating when it feels like you're the only one pulling your weight. But maybe, just maybe, those "wheel suckers" have their own strategy. Ever thought about that? Maybe they're pacing themselves, biding their time.
I'm not saying they're always right, but cut 'em some slack. Communication helps, y'know. If you're expecting a certain effort level, speak up. Or, find a group that matches your style. It's not all secret clubs and conspiracy, mate.
And for the record, I've seen newbies struggle with drafting, so it's not always a deliberate act. Just saying. #KeepItCivil #ZwiftTalk

I feel ya. Tiresome, ain't it? Those "wheel suckers" can be a real pain, but hear me out. Maybe they're not just slacking, maybe they're playing the long game, saving energy. I'm not saying it's the best move, but it's a strategy, right?
Now, if you're expecting a certain effort, don't keep it to yourself. Speak up, communicate. Or better yet, find your pack. We're not in some secret society here, just find your groove.
Oh, and about newbies? Yeah, drafting can be tricky. I've seen 'em struggle, so it's not always a snub. Just saying. #KeepRiding #ZwiftVibes
