It's a little unconventional, but, is he really going to hurt a horse like that?
Is he expected to not express displeasure at an unruly animal?

Did he fail to stipulate in the contract with the horse that it may be
physically punished for extreme misbehavior?

Should the horse have been given a time out? Or maybe give it an old scratchy
blanket instead of the one with the Disney Princesses?

Was this stupid? Probably. So what?

You are correct. That guy has a lot to learn from Zidane - that
headbutt was awesome.
