    This is great to hear and makes sense due to performance this year.
    Evidently Zabel broke his foot at home, but nothing serious. He will not race anymore in '04, however.

    Well I am gutted obviously. lol but it dosn't surprise me either. Next year he will be back. Im sure!!!

    Zabel is legendary for the amount of training and having the ability to stay in form the whole cycling season. Age may be catching up with him but he is smart and an opportunist that will still win races. He is so consistent that he is always at the top of world rankings.

    Ehh, did you mean "still become second in races"? 🙂

    Zabel is one of my favourites, a pity T-Mobile do not support him more in the sprints.

    I think age has crept up on him so his firsts are now seconds.

    It's really a pity that Ulrich and Zabel can't have their own German teams. I'd love to see Zabel ride the Tour with good support and a decent lead out man. Unfortuntely, 2005 will probably see him once again on his own.

    I am glad that he isn't just Telekom's George Hincapie.
