NW of them folks, we have an estimated 30% on sick call. Worst I've
ever seen it, and I served my time, thank you. Two weeks laid up was enough.

My child has other health problems. One of the worse things that could happen is for her to
get the flu.

Influenza is a virus. It's always been resistant to antibiotics. One of the reasons we are creating
those super bacterium is people's failure to realize that you can't cure a viral infection with
antibiotics.
Matt (this is an issue that's always really irritated me - why can't they get it?)
PS - Paladin - glad you got through it. Kind of scary times we're in these days.

I'm sure she'll be alright, just very unhappy for a while, yet somehow children seem to suffer less
than adults.
I'm guessing Dave was somehow trying to make a dig at JD, "Colorado may be a great place to ride,
but you have some bad flu going on." I was initially offended because I don't think this is any more
an appropriate topic than attacks on ones family relationships, because several kids have died, and
because I had the flu particularly hard the morning of his post. I'm not going to die of it this
year anyway, but it breaks my heart when you read of children passing away, in any circumstance, in
any state or country.
