Thank you, but 9:30am isn't night in the Eastern time zone, though 4:30am for mountain stages on the
west coast is for early risers. On the bright side, many of them will see the end before work or a
morning ride.

What do you mean? I live in Europe and they happen to be riding at the same time I am. This means I
have to give up my own training to watch the tour. Naahh I'd much rather have it in the middle of
the night when nothing else is happening. Having rushed home to catch the prolouge starting in about
45 minutes.

Ah Svend, I'll be watching Tyler in the mornings here on the East Coast but I think that you'll be
disappointed in his overall result. Now if his DS, Bjarne "Mr. 60%" Riis could get Tyler's
hematocrit up to Riis' 1996 level, Tyler would have a much more interesting race. Tyler has had an
excellent season, but I don't think he's going to be competitive for gc in the Tour. If I were going
to bet against Armstong, I put my money on Ulrich. Hope springs eternal.

Actually the LeTour comes on here in CO at 7;30 in the AM, also three other times.

Don't feel sorry for us, feel sorry that we had to endure 30 minute, once per week Tour updates with
the likes of Karsten and Possey...that was punishment!!

no doubt, i tape every stage. for one thing, i can't stand the constant repeat of the same 4
advertisements every 12 minutes. i'm still traumatized by the "run-a-way shoes.com" ad from a couple

It's worse than that for me ... I've got about 90 channels but they're all garbage, so I didn't
realize until today that Cox cable had switched out OLN, sometime during the last year with TCM
which plays worthless old black and white movies. Turner is bad ... very, very bad.

And so is ABC, CBS and NBC for not being able to outbid a rinky-dink outfit like OLN. All CBS would
have to do, for instance, is divert what they're flushing on the likes of Dan Rather--I could get
that my watching reruns of propaganda from Pravda.

I guess I'll have to follow the race on the web and buy the 10 hours of CDs. I'm not going to up my
cable subscription just to get at least 20 days out of 360 of interesting TV a year.

I am not offended by your remarks about Bjarne Riis - I don't even like him, the arrogant [censored].
In retrospect it seems like they all were "on someting" those days. However, it was a mighty fine
race i 1996 when Riis broke the boring and always defensive Indurain's ownership to the TdF. (For
the record: Riis won TdF-stages in 1993, 1994, 1996 - finished 5 in TdF 1994, 3 in 1995)

About Tyler Hamilton: I think he is better thank you tink - time will show. Here is another view:
