Classic.. It's sad to say that the same reasoning for this audiophile junk is applied to a lot of
other hobbies. Not the least of which is cycling... and people love buying snake oil.

people that alls ya' have to do to cut down interference from any point source by 50% is to simply

I must say that the cost and claims of some audiophile products are not realistic, but I have
already seen in other posts, that fun is being poked at products that do have benefits.

A parallel can be drawn to non cyclists who think that a bike is a bike. Or to take it a step
further, that other than cosmetics, all wheels are the same. Put someone on a bike who doesn't ride
regularly and odds are they won't be able to discern differences in road tires.

Speaker cables, interconnects, and power cords all have an affect on the overall sound of an audio
system. A decent one anyway, one with the ability to resolve low level details.

With all things, there is a point where the laws of diminishing returns, comes into play. Just
like with bicycles, the individual has to decide that. I love music and a high end audio system,
just makes listening, that much more enjoyable. I have dedicated circuits, with special outlets,
they aren't Wattgate, their Acme and sell for $25. They give me the benefit of a good tight
connection and have an affect on the overall sound. Many of these tweaks are subtle, but have
accumulative benefits.

For a good audio system, and I think a good bike, success is in the details. This is a bicycle forum
and I don't come here to discuss audio, nor will I debate the topic here, but as an audiophile I
felt something had to be said. It's easy to poke fun at things we have no knowledge or understanding
of. Easy, but not fair. For those that do that, it's very telling of the type of person, that they
