  1. Yuhhhhh uhhhhhh! I've made the yorkshire with Ophelia's recipe. Now I
rimember the taste of a lot of years ago in England!
Well, as you can see from the photos, YP in the oven were very puffed up(and
    one didn't grow at all).
When I took them out of the oven, most of them flop down, others remained
    inflated.
The YP which were puffed up were empty inside, instead the others had a
    little of uncooked batter inside.
Now I ask: How do they come out internally.
BTW They were very good (they are soon finished) and my uncle and my
boyfriend enjoyed them very much. We put inside some olive sauce and they
were very good (but they were good also without stuffing.
Now I must prepare some others for the dinner and tomorrow I will try
    Debbie's recipe.
In this second manche I will change the flour ( because I have used
    manitoba) putting the normal one.
    See the photo:

Inside they were a little raw, but they were good!
    I must perfect the cooking.

Sounds/looks like your oven temperature is uneven.

It's ok if they flop after you take them out of the oven, as long as
    they rise.

    Quoted message said:

The YP which were puffed up were empty inside,

That's what you want - if they stay inflated.

Put less batter in the pan next time.

You dipped them in olive oil?

Look for popover recipes too, because that's what the individual YP
    are also called.

Darn! I just remembered that I lost a great thyme popover recipe when

Yes. I thought this because the Yp that were on the left were more cooked
than the others that were on the right. Perhaps I must use the ventilate
    function!
But I Am afraid that with the air, my Yp don't go up.

Yes but it is more difficult to full inflated ones.

No. I used butter to grease the tins. And I use a "sauce" that I make (I
call it olive cream. It is a paradisiac thing!) to full them internally.

Those pix are great - the YP look fantastic. Being an Aussie, it used
to be a sometimes accompaniment to beef roasts but not so popular as in
    Mother England <g>.
I think it is quite acceptable for some to deflate en route to the
    table!

just makes my day. And those wonderful photos!
