My ride yesterday (an L6 interval session) showed a TSS of 109.5 on the page with the graphs for that ride only. I'm not sure of the terminology for the page name. However, when I go to the "athelete home" page, where I have graphs of daily and weekly TSS, this particular day is showing a TSS of 67.2. Everything else about yesterday's ride which I have on the home page (distance, duration) is correct. I'm pretty sure the 109.5 is right. What gives?

Oh, yeah, the IF was under reported also.
Save the wko file, close athlete, and try re-opening.
Same after closing and re-opening the program? Double check the date and athlete for the workout in question also.
Did you by any chance change, add or delete a threshold value (in "Power Training Zones"😉 before or after you uploaded your ride file? The fact that IF and TSS are both different suggests that the two TSS values were computed with different threshold values.

Hey, RD. No, I didnt change anything there but I was suspicious of something like that. Partly because I really havent learned how CP calculates that stuff. Wouldnt CP still show the same TSS and IF on the two different screens even if I had changed the threshold number?
Another data point: This evening's club ride loaded just fine and the data matches between screens. So I'm thinking of copying that ride to another place, deleting the original and then reloading the copy.

I'm not sure, because I think CP builds the charts on the fly from the ride files. I would have to do some testing. Let's say that you download a ride file with a current threshold power setting of 250W. The ride computes all the stats and updates the charts. You later decide that your true threshold power is 255W and you create a new threshold power setting for a date that precedes the ride file. The new threshold power won't change NP but will change IF and TSS. What happens if you open the ride file? Will IF and TSS be computed with 250W or 255W? What about the charts that include IF and TSS? Will they be computed with 250W or 255W? I would have to test it to find out. But, your numbers aren't just a little different. They are so different that I doubt you would have changed your threshold power by enough to account for the difference. So, it's still a mystery.

After a LOT of testing I have decided that there has to be a bit of corrupted information hidden in that particular file. Fortunately, the interval session I did that day is one I do on a regular schedule, and I ride them pretty much identically. So I just deleted the problem file (actually moved it elsewhere for future reference) copied another one from a different date and changed the date on it. So now all my TSS totals are usable. It is still a mystery though.
