eat any thing till today noon, (slept late), [censored] BG
showed 242 at 11:00 am today. For last night dinner, all I
had is salad, vegtable, one hot dog meat, slice of chease.
Exercised at 4:00pm today, at 5:00pm BG showed 125. Great!
Yahoooooooo! It's been a long time I measured so low BG.
Looks like I'll be alive for another few years, don't have
to save for casket yet.
That's great news! I've had to cut way down on all processed
meats (hotdogs, deli meats), pizza, and pasta. I note that
the day after I eat these things, my fbg is always about 10-
15 points higher--for whatever reason. I've also found that
generally my fbg is higher the later I get up, no matter how
many hours I've fasted. My body is on it's own rhythm,
that's for sure.
I'm a type 2 on meds, and I seem to have my best numbers the
next day when I eat a dinner of lean meat, a microwaved ear
of fresh corn or small red potato, and broiled halved
zucchini, yellow squash, or microwaved asparagus, and then
eat a snack of a half bowl of whole grain cereal with 1%
milk later in the evening. I agree with the folks here--keep
a diary and test so you can experiment with what happens
under various circumstances.
