  1. I want cake! I want beer! I want ice cream! I want pizza!

Sorry, I just needed to get that out of my system. I am okay now. Really.

You can do all that, once you get to your goal weight and maintenance. Not
    often, but now and then.

BTW, I ate a few slices of pizza the other night, and was up all night with
the erryurps. You might want to think about the consequences.

Tis better to drink whiskey than eat high-carb foods.

I haven't had ice cream since going low carb, but last night I was watching The
Apprentice and the task was to sell a new flavor of ice cream. One team came
up with "donut ice cream" which is roughly equivalent to cookie dough ice
cream. And boy, did I ever want to run out and get some ice cream during that
segment of the show. Fortunately, the feeling passed.

  6. To be honest, I cannot eat LC products that are loaded with some sort of
fake sugar. Sorry, that is just me. I am used to eating Hagan Daaz and
foods that are all natural and from simple ingredients.

    Thanks though.

  9. As long as you make your own, IMHO. I tried a store bought low carb ice
cream and it gave me horrible intestinal distress for days. And, really, I
only had about three bites, not even the '1/2 cup serving' size.

Frankly, I'll wait till I'm at goal and can OCCASIONALLY eat very small
    amounts of the real stuff.

  10. You might experiment with the many brands and formulas out there. I can't
handle lactitol in candy, but many of the LC ice creams seem to have no
adverse effect on me. Also, quantity is a factor. Limiting the portion to
    3.5 ounces may help.

Ditto. I like Breyer's CarbSmart chocolate and vanilla flavors (didn't care for
the strawberry and the other flavors are higher carb) and do not have any
digestive distress from them (trust me, I KNOW from digestive distress).
