  1. I'm new here, and I know you all don't know me yet, but I am so excited after today's meeting, I
have to share! After two weeks on WW, I've lost almost 10 lbs (9.6 to be exact!) I still have a long
way to go, and I know that a lot of my initial loss is water weight, and I'm losing more than the
average because I weigh so much, and it will slow down considerably, but on my way home, I thought,
holy cow, that's 10% of the weight I need to lose!! That's inspiring! This next week, I plan to add
exercise, and hopefully make it through Thanksgiving with a positive outcome (but negative on the
    scale!) Thanks for listening, Shannon

  2. Great job on the loss Shannon!! That is really good news and very exciting--you deserve to be
    excited over it!!!

    WAY TO GO!!!!!

  4. Good for you, shannon ... congrats on such a fantastic beginning! Sounds to me like you have a great
realistic view of the weightloss journey, that will definitely work to your advantage. You know the
losses will slow down eventually, but they will keep coming. You'll be surprised at how fast the
time really does go by. I had to lose about the same amount of you, took me a little over a year.
When the first year anniversary rolled around, I honestly couldn't believe it had come already! It
still seems to me like it was only a few short months ago that I decided to give ww a try ... it has
    actually been over 18 months.

Good luck with your continued success, and with the upcoming holidays.

  5. Yay Shannon 🙂. I started out in Feb 2002, and got to goal in August 2003.
Lost 87 pounds. It works! Just don't ever quit, especially when you hit
those spots where you gain a bit, or get stuck. If you don't quit, you will
end up at your goal too... 🙂🙂

  6. Hi Shannon!

Great news - now keep thinking positive thoughts, and feeling good about yourself, and the weight
    loss should continue!

lose. Congratulations and welcome to the group.

  13. Way to go Shannon!!! The first ten pounds is great! I just started also, and am happy with the
results so far, but haven't quite lost 10 pounds yet.
