  1. Got out on the 'bent. Glorious day - a bit of slush on the road, but
actually quite warm and bright sunshine. Then a F***ing Bl**dy Motorised
Wa*k goes by. Heaven forbid he move out a bit to overtake, or even do it at
a reasonable speed, but no, the total moron goes by within a foot of me and
showers me head to foot in ice off the road. Lord, I *loathe* BMW drivers.

Rant mode off, normal service will now be resumed.

    Cheers, helen s

I am considering investing in a supply of rockets, suitable for penetrating
the armour of a tank, and for mounting on a bicycle, for the resolution of
such minor disputes. I would consider buying 1,000 such items for
redistribution to cyclists in batches of 10, at a very modest markup.

So much more civilised than saluting drivers in the normal manner or
stopping to discuss the matter with them.

I would be grateful for the contact details of any reputable arms dealers
    who could supply the above.

He must have been a urc'r who knew it was Mr Frosty whom one would
assume would love being showered in ice ;-)

Attach a spike to teh offside hub that scrapes down the vehicle side
when they drive too close a la Ben Hur.

I've been wondering about mounting them (on an upright) below the
lowriders on the front wheel, but then any timing mismatch would
    do for your steering,

But if it's a rocket, are they not effectively "free standing" and only
generate thrust through reaction to their exhaust against the air?

Either way, limpet mines with a 10-20 second delay are the answer, stick
'em on the buggers as they go past if they're that close 😉

you not fitted an Airzound to it yet. Makes them think a juggernaut is
    coming up behind them

I think it requires an Airzound. Nathan got home from college this afternoon
and he's visibly unnerved. Five - count them, five, Chelsea tractors went by
too close for Nathan's comfort. Seems even though we are in a rural area,
the Chelsea tractor rules the road with a "Get out of my way!" mentality of
the drivers. BAH! A p*x on those ones today! :-(

You need a big strip of scratchy steel sticking out the side into the
road. I bet they make sure their precious paintwork goes nowhere near it.

Okay then, remotely operated limpet mines. That brings up a nice little
unexplored avenue, have them ignite when they sense mobile phone
    transmissions from the driver's seat...
