WTB: Seatpost, Felt SR71

have you looked at Dean Woods deanwoods.com.audeanwoods.com.auOpen ↗ - my commuter bike has a Trans-X suspension post on it that I bought from him. Its not the model that is curently shown on the website. He does however have a Kalloy suspension post for $52 at the moment.

Thanks for the reply Steve, I bought one for the MTB from him earlier in the year.

I am trying to get the "genuine" Felt one to keep the bike as original as possible. The local Felt distributor has approved a Rockshox Suspension post in the meantime. I just can't seem to buy one without buying another bike. 😕

I see the 2005 range is on the Felt Racing web page.

All the flat bar range, SR71/81/91, now have a new zero offset suspension seatpost. Does anyone recognise the new seatpost, brand, model?? Where to buy??

just from the look of it, it could be a 'generic' version of a RockShox road suspension post.

Thanks again for the reply.

The importer in the US was going to send me a zero offset head for my original post.

I don't think the one on the 2005 bikes is a Rockshox, I have one of those, also and the heads are not interchangable. The barrels are different internal diameters.

I thought it resembled the Specialised Road Suspension Seatpost more than any other I have seen. What do you think?

FELT ROCKS!!!!

They "found" me a new (2005) seatpost, it is being shipped to Australia today. Well done and many Thanks to the team at Felt Racing!!! 😄
