World News Tonight with Peter Jennings started about Lance winning the Tour with the clip that shows him riding over the infamous EPO Lance sign written in the road. Also they showed the germans spitting on him. Think they could of been a little more negative. Why couldn't they of highlighted some of the better moments of the Tour instead of focusing on the negative. It was too short and stupid anyway.

B-
Because not everyone wants to suck on Lance's [censored] like you do.
Dipshit, I'm not in group who's calling Lance the greatest rider of all time, not ever the greatest tour rider of all time. I was interested in how the media plays it. Get your head out of your ass.

Whatever were you expecting from them. This is how they are. This is their outlook. It is stupid to watch network news unless you want to wallow in the negativity of it all.

Well there is a good life lesson for you:
The news focuses on the negative and is too short and stupid.
I don't watch NBC, CBS or ABC that much at all for the news. I use the Internet to get the really juicy stuff. I watch CNN to get flashes or sometimes MSNBC, sometimes Fox. Don't care for Rather much, like Brokaw some, Jennings less. Sometimes PBS new hour.

PBS is the only network to go into enough depth to get stuff really wrong.

Ratings, or course. Isn't it obvious? ------------- Alex

I pity people who volunteer to be interviewed by the BBC, particularly those with a skeleton or two in the closet. While BBC have taken a shellacking for the Dr David Kelly affair (which I don't honestly believe Kelly was wrong, but politics being what they are...), some of the BBC interviewers don't shy away from the hard questions, those which reveal even over the radio some discomfort and tell you someone knows a lot more than they are saying. To their credit they've done this with monsters like Idi Amin and lived to tell about it.
