Hi guys,
First of all, thanks very much to everyone on this group for the advice
on a route from Greenwich to the Tate Modern. I've now moved and the
commute is almost completely painless!
I've now got another couple of questions. I'm a bit of a born-again
cyclist and I'm looking to do all the bike maintenance myself instead
of taking it in for regular servicing. In order to make it a bit
easier I thought it was probably a good idea to get a workstand.
Edinburgh Cycles have the Revolution Tune Up Workstand which looks like
very good value - does anyone have any experience of it? Or any other
recommendations?
Finally, when I shift into certain gears on the bike the chain makes a
grinding noise as though the tension in the gear cable isn't quite
right. It seems that there's a number of things I could fiddle with.
The bike is a new Specialized Sirrus Sport with a Shimano Tiagra
drivetrain & rapid fire shifters. Any tips on how to solve this
problem?
Cheers,
Darth.
