Womens Road race

That was a quite a final few laps in the Olympics. Really exciting.
Was Arndt just blown? She seemed to not fight at the end.

Cooke is so dynamic and exciting as a rider.

I was also impressed with the US rider Thorburn. I didn't think she
had much international experience, but she was driving the field at a
critical time in the race to get her teammates back into contention.
She really fought to keep her bike up in the Zijlaard crash too.

Yeah, Judith was dead, she did too much work early on. I think that was her
second breakaway.

Cooke had shades of what she produced at hamilton but just couldn't put it
together at the end. It was a very hard course according to Paul that some
of the men say it was the hardest one day circuit that they have even raced.
Add to that the winds that were pounding the women all day long. You can
imagine just how hammered the girls were. After all the wind, I suppose
Judith was dead, as where Sara played her cards well, wheelsucker sydrome,
again but she won it and that's great for the Ausses.

I didn't know she was a doctor or that Amrstrong has a bone disease.

Maybe a bit too desperate to win today. Olympic Gold is HUGE in the UK
and would have set her up in a way all her other palmares don't. All
credit to the Aussies - even with only three riders they rode a good
team race.

She was off the bike for a couple seconds in the last 5K too and had
to chase.

I read about that somewhere, not CN. They said the police noticed her father
writing something in the road and proceed to pick him up and take him to the
police station where he was held for a short while and then released. Here
