I found the frame without a seat subframe. Got it cheap. At that time I was
riding a Haro Escape hardtail (this was 8 months ago when I started riding
mtb)

I made my own seat subframe and just loved the bike... then I saw this
noleen forks on ebay, read the reviews... well... I don't ever want any
other bike, unless it's an extralite X-Link. I hate telescopic forks, tested
sids, fox f80rlt, manitou skareb, manitou black platinum. Although some of
them are lighter than the noleen, I love the solid feel of the noleen and
the maintenance. + it looks cool, fits the strange looking frame with my
home made subframe.

I have test ridden scalpels, hardtails - many bikes.... I am just so
confident on this setup.... I'm fastest on this bike, and I can ride the
downhill's fast.

Yes, I get checked out with my old school set up, (mostly in amazement) but
this was the initial design for many new bikes to come. And it still is a
great bike.
