Hi Helen,

mailed that address last week but no reply as of yet, he may be on holiday or something and as I
dont like ringing people cold ( soft aint I ) I just thought there may be someone on the group with
some details, not to worry I will give him a few more days and give him a call. Thanks for making
the effort though, much appreciated.

Because they might be high speed tossers not interested in the slower folks. A bit like "harriers"
runnig clubs?

runnig clubs?

However you won't know unless you contact them. But you may be right, so many 'cycling' clubs seem
to be as you describe 🙁

Anyway - the sentiment stands. You don't really know what a club is like until they have actually
left you behind, or the expressions on their faces when you finally catch up.
