I am looking for a wide, smooth, 27 inch (iso 630mm) tire. About 35mm
mounted on the rim would be great. Does a tire like that exist?

Road Winners actually measure 32mm when mounted? Thanks. -

27 x 1 3/8" is as fat as 27" tires get:

About 35mm mounted on the rim would be great. Does a tire
like that exist?Indeed it does — I believe this is a Kenda:

I am trying to figure out which is widest without buying one of each.
You'll have to find someone else that has bought them and measured the
actual dimensions, then, because when it comes to tires, manufacturer
markings are not guaranteed to reflect actual sizes.Exactly! That is why I asked in the NG.

measure 25.5mm mounted. Not what I expected. Has anyone else used
these? Are they supposed to be this narrow?BTW, their tread looks nothing like either of the two pictures on the
box, nor like a new pasela 700x35 I have seen. Could these be old
tires?
