  1. This week I had a bad start. We had a party next door to
celebrate his retirement and the start of his travels
(he's going to south africa then dubai for 7 weeks). I ate
too many vol-au-vents and cheese and biscuits, and drank
too much wine.. I thought this week was going to be a
    maintain at best.

The WI today is down 2 to 200 pounds.

Still lifting, still improving, though I haven't done much
cardio this week. My body fat is down to 25.2% which means
I've gained about 3 pounds lean body mass since I was first
at 200 pounds at the beginning of October.

    Next few goals are
    1. get below 200 and enter wonederland
    2. lose 4 to get to 196 - 'normal' weight, and the maximum
    for jumping
    3. get below 25% body fat

  2. Congrats on the great loss, Ray. Sounds like you recovered
well from your party, which is what we inevitably want to
learn how to do for life. I look forward to hearing your
shouts of glee when you break into wonderland ... shouldn't
    be long now!

    Best of luck!

I did a test during the weekend. I drank lots of water on
friday and WI on my bodyfat scale on saturday morning.

I was at 79.8 kg and 25.5 % BF Yesterday, while being at
the food fair mentioned in an earlier post ( I behaved
pretty well by the way (pads self on back)) I did *not*
    drink a lot.

Just for the fun of it I WI today in the morning again.

    Weight= 80 kg, BF 24 % ....

So, get your BF counted as dry as possible for a
    "satisfying" result.

    Cheers Marc

hehe. The omron type devices are a bit hit and miss aren't
they. I take a measurement every night and average over the
week. It seems to be consistent to within about 1% or so.
It's accurate enough at 25%. Maybe if I was 8% I'd want to
be a bit more sure it was correct. I also have some body fat
calipers which I used a couple of weeks ago. They are very
difficult to use accurately. I'm gonna try to get a reading
from them every month or so. So far they say 21.4% but I'm
not convinced I'm using them properly. In both cases what
matters really is whether the figure is going up or down.

  7. Great job losing those 2 pesky pounds this week. sounds like
going to the party shook your body up enough to let them go.
Sort of like a mini-Wendy plan.

  10. Well, as some folks say, you don't want to fool your body
into starvation mode so eating more sometimes pays off.

CONGRATULATIONS on that loss and hitting that magic 200 on
the nose. Best of luck for skinning your knee or whatever it
takes to get below next week (G)

Great job on also reducing that body fat. According to my
scale (which I decided only provides relative values), I
went from 32% to hovering around 14-15%)

Oh, jumping took a while but you are referring to death-
    defying parachuting, (G)

Had a big dinner tonight, but I'm just about on target. also
had a hair cut to compensate. I'm gonna try so hard to lose
another pound this week. I might even do some cardio just to
    make sure 🙂)

I'm gonna try my damndest to lose something this week. I
will be so disappointed if I maintain. This is one time when
    maintenance just isn't enough.

Good luck to you too. I hope you get to wonderland too. And
