  1. Does anyone know why there are so many Look frames currently on eBay?
Easily 10 times more that all other carbon frames combined. Lots of 461,
481, 555, LX. Have they lost favour with riders? Dumping? Any concerns
    about quality?
    Thanks. Bernard

I think it's just because they make so many frames. Who else makes that
many? Trek? Are there as many Trek carbon frames?

No problem with quality in the ones we have sold...555, 565, 585 are
the three we carry. Look has made many frames, many numbers, being
built for a short time. Perhaps customers are looking to 'upgrade' to
the newist without really needing to 'upgrade. BTW-I have a 2005 555,
    size 55 on closeout-$1600...

Odd observation. At our local bike swap, there were more Look brand
frames there too than others. The experts at the swap had nothing bad to
say about them. I guess folks just like to upgrade.

1 example of someone who got rid of his LOOK: I had problems with a clicking
sound that came from the Integrated Headset. Nobody could solve it and
    therefore I sold the frame.

As I recall, it wasn't so much a question of solving a problem, but of
creating one by selecting a non-standard fork. You still had, I think,
approximately another dozen bikes to ride. All low usage. Selling any ? 🙂

Look have been in the business a long time. Maybe they've just made 10
times more carbon frames than anybody else?

As was recommended to me by the official LOOK dealer.....

Not really. I added another low cost CX bike to my collection, that I
transformed into a bad weather road bike. I use it every day now and to be
honest, I like riding it as much as riding any expensive bike......

There may have been a bunch of overstocks hanging around, but it's
probably just people upgrading to the latest/greatest.
