  1. Lance is seeing what is happening to his friend Tyler Hamilton. No way,
is he going to take a chance with that. He'll take the year off, let the
dust settle, see if their has been some new recipes developed, that can't be
detected. He's a smart cookie, and a survivor, something he learned as a
    kid.

You are an extremely biased person. ;-)

But at least his biases have a bit of diversity to them.

Yes, an example of bias would be to turn every event into an ulterior
drug related motive. Kind of like the racer who retired due to vein
thrombosis and this is immediately a suspicion of drug use. In Lance's
case, it doesn't matter what he does or doesn't do, it'll be seen by
some as avoiding a drug issue.

  5. This is pretty ridiculous. While it's still in question whether Lance
will enter the tdf. You can bet that Lance will enter some races this
year. After all Lance has contractual obligations to fulfill with
discovery. In any case Lance will not thow away a years worth of racing.

I suspect that Armstrong's lawyer negotiated a clause as to retirement prior
to the end of his racing contract. One would assume there is something of a
liquidated damages clause--less money but he still has future broadcast
    deals with DC.

    Dumbass -

Mr. Valerius' bias is at least somewhat entertaining. He doesn't post
endless variations of the same theme, over and over and over and over
again, like the skipping record that is yourself.
    thanks,

    K. Gringioni.

Do a Google search for Armstrong and Discovery Channel and you'll find lots
    of information.

Do a google search for anything and you will find lots of information.
That doesn't answer the question. Do you have a specific source for
this information or are you "jus' sayin'"?

  12. Vlaerius posits Armstrong will duck French races for a year to "let the
    dust settle."

I don't know what dust there is to settle. The investigation which
was only announced a few days ago, appears to already have run it
course. O'reilly was questioned six months ago. The lead she has
provided, far from being damning Armstrong, is an active defender. The
doctor pointedly asserts there are people out to get Armstrong. See
    http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/181_1211094,00070007.htm.
Now the judical police commissioner in charge of the investigation has
stated that the case is likely to be abandoned. See "Wheels fall off
    Armstrong doing inquiry at start"

  13. Why would Lance retire now......??? Let's face it, while Lance's chance
of winning the TDF are a a bit in question. His chances of winning a
classic or two is almost 100%. If Lance wants to he can easily win a
race like Tour of Lombardy. Quite frankly I am suprised that more
riders of Lance's caliber don't enter more of the fall classics. They
are presitgious and a lot of riders haven gone home already.

  14. Even if a past competitive advantage was erased, it was erased for
everyone. You think Tyler and Lance had some secret technique that no
    one else used?

    Dave

The terms of his contract, including future broadcasting duties, was set out
in both the cycling and general news media. A Google search, or perhaps a
visit to the Discovery Channel web site, will bring a wealth of information.

That is just a salutation. Using the same salutation or signature isn't
the same as posting about the same subject endlessly.
    Endlessly. Stupefyingly. Boringly.
