why isn't lance wearing sunglasses?

Because when your drafting in the rain, the water, and grime get on your glasses and obstruct your vision.

dispute with Oakley over payments..... he'll be wearing Nike by the Saturday..... small matter of 15 million....

LOL, funny but I doubt it. Oakley pretty much saved his life. Cofidis', the team that had just signed him at the time, insurance company had decided that his cancer was a pre-existing condition and wasn't going to cover his medical costs. Oakley was among the first of his sponsors to step up and offer to help, they and others pressured the insurance company to cover his medical treatments and the insurance company gave in the end. I don't know about Lance, but if it were me I'd wear those sunglasses forever in gratitude, sponsorship contract or not.

Being a prescription glasses wearer I'd say its easier in the rain to not have them on. Sure you get more grit and garbage on your face and in your eyes, but it is very difficult to see out of wet glasses.

Rain and the reasons mentioned by SpokeKing above for Nancy, as far as the TTT, LA stated in a sound-bite with EuroSport that he was sweating heavily during warm up and having to use the "closed" aero helmet, the fact that there was a tail wind and that he knew they (Disco) would have to ride like bats out of Hell due to the point to point format and tailwind, he decided to leave the Sunglasses behind for fear of sweating on the lenses and having to toss them.

Actually Nike was also one of the first to step it up. Lance says in his book that he owes a lot to Nike and he will always do whatever they need him to.

Seriously... he told Europort that its hard to wear sunglasses in the rain as the water flicks into the lenes and you can't see.... he said his eyes are getting ichy at night but he cant see if he wears sunglasses all the time....

Lance will always wear Nike, Giro and Oakely for their support when he was sick.

I`m wondering why Hincapie had different shorts as others have in last stages. They are the same as lower part of TT suit.

I don`t think so, because, as I said before, these shorts are the same as leg-part of TT suit, which all are wearing. But really strange, because he`s the only one of DCs who wears different shorts and it doesn`t look OK when they`re together.
