  1. Because I've just spent nearly 600 squid on a lens.

    Ouch.

Eat your heart out PS ;-)

Mind, you've probably got one already

    .....and a GPS :-)

Nice. Is that on a full frame camera?

10D, so there is some cropping. Still a lovely performer though.

    Maybe get a 1DS next year :-)

The 30D(?) is due out next year, that may be 10 or 11 MP, and probably way
    cheaper.

    Hi there,

I've just ordered one of them myself, with a 5D. Should be here tomorrow!
Might have to work at home tomorrow... :-D

The reason I'm posting is because I have just bought a Canon 17-40 £70
cashback voucher from eBay, for £0.75p. Providing the lens was bought
between about March and December 2005, you can use it to get that £70
cashback from Canon...my only gripe is that they ask for the original
barcode from the box to be sent with it...I hate spoiling packaging in case
it ruins chances of reselling, however, I don't think it'll take £70 from
the resale value should I ever sell it!

If you go to ebay.co.uk and type in: canon voucher, there are quite a few
    there.

    Anyway, just an idea!

    Ste
