Show the early parts of these stages (14), then cut to the finishing
miles? They might have a good excuse during the live feed, in that they
just can't afford to stay on the event for 6 straight hours, but in
their prime-time show, why can't they make stages like today's about 10X
more interesting by showing the racing?
According to the cn.com report as well as Al&Bobke's TV comments, the
first hour was full of tactical high-speed racing, and here we are
watching recreational cyclists pace the peloton instead.
BTW, someday I'll go to France and see the Tour, and I'll run alongside
the riders. But I've decided to do it on a downhill, just to be different.

them to fight in what would be an unwinnable urban guerilla war, it

instability." George Bush Sr. in his 1998 book "A World Transformed"
