  1. I bought a couple of large racks of spare ribs today at Smart & Final.
They came out to about 17 lbs altogether. I could barely lift them! I
can't believe I used to carry around about 3 times that much 24 hours a
    day! No WONDER everything hurt!

  2. Now I know why everything hurts. LOL.

  3. I know how you feel. I used to carry 2 50 pound sacks of flour once a day up
a flight of stairs when I was baking. I can't believe how much weight people
carry every single day. The only good thing was that when I started losing I
noticed how muscular my legs had gotten.

  4. Thanksgiving is a good time to look at the market basket and contemplate
    what you've lost.

I'm currently maintaining the loss of one 20 lb turkey (one of those big,
cheap ones), a five pound bag of spuds, and a three pound bag of onions.

ROFL! What an image! Much more motivational than the pile of lard at the
    diabetes clinic : )

  6. I cooked a 12.5 lb turkey yesterday - I lost 25 pounds so that would be two
of those - That seems like more when it is off the body in one spot then
when it was smattered all over my body - but it is gone.
