Despite the B-sample positive, I haven't heard any announcement from the
Tour saying they've DQ's Landis. The Tour site says "The UCI
(International Cycling Union) will determine the disciplinary action to
be taken against this rider."

Floyd Landis, and it will always be Floyd Landis. In 1954, when the Tour
started in Amsterdam, one of the guests of honour was Maurice Garin. He
signed the register with "Maurice Garin, winner of the Tour in 1903 and
1904". Of course, in 1904 he had been disqualified, but he was quite right.

[censored] Pound and the LNDD won the Tour, but Pat McQuaid
thinks _he_ won the Tour. ASO and the riders' organization lost.
Floyd and Oscar weren't entered in this race.

Floyd Landis won. It has been widely alleged that he doped. If he did dope
and is found guilty of doing so, then he will be stripped of his victory,
but this has not yet happened (and I have to say that although I was
initially persuaded of his guilt I'm no longer so sure).

Mind you, both Pound and McQuaid are in urgent need of medical attention to
the smoking holes each man has in both feet. Whether each shot himself or
the two shot each other is not at this moment clear but both thought they
were aiming at ASO.

I believe technically the USADA decision is the point at which he is
officially guily of the doping offense and loses the title.

And look for the money trail, it seems he has not collected his prize
and Perreiro either, so I guess the winner is the TDF !
