It's the Synapsi from Deda. Suggested retail $720...:eek::eek:
I hope that's not in US Dollars.
That's more than i paid for Dads new bike.....
Yes, that's US dollars. They're carbon bars, which tends to kick the price up in the stratosphere.
The Synapsi shows up on ebay from time to time in the $300 (used) to $500 (new) range.
Before you go investing serious bucks in the aero riding position, you might want to buy a set of clip on aero bars ($75 or so) and try it out. Can't turn quickly in the aero position, so there is a safety factor to be considered. I found it too restricting for casual training rides.
If you are on training rides, why do you need to be aero? If you are racing you aren't using these bars because they aren't legal.

I saw a guy who had them and I thought they looked cool. I like the fact you can get a little aero without bolting on a ton of stuff (pads etc...). Its nice to have an extra position too. But that price!!!
Maybe this instead for now....
Yup, that is your other option. Spinaci, made by Cinelli. Should be a wee bit cheaper than the synapsi...
