Why in God's name would you ask that here? Granted, the average MFW IQ is,
er, was 156, but still...it seems odd.

At any rate, if you must know, the first official competitions were not held
until 1863 in Oslo, Norway, although there are a few historians who believe
the first competitions were held in England around 1763. Johann Van Gleusen
is generally regarded as the father of modern speed skating amongst the MFW
    intelligentsia.

Maybe she googled and got some weird combination of MFW, Monkeyboy and
    speed-skating.

Heh! Isn't it the MFW way that we poke fun of the OP more before we
tell them what they want to know?

Hmmm. We could change that, I suppose.

People with names like 'AlohaNicole' tend to get a little more slack.

Good for a giggle from my end.

I'll just take this opportunity to say that Clara Hughes kicks ass.

on the Saguenay lake, but instead he was.... hum.. courting the girl of the
big goon on the other team... when Goonie found out he chased skinny around
