True, but much later than dailypeloton.com who had it Saturday.

I must say that the reports about the road conditions in the Santa Ynez
valley are way off base. I rode over there Saturday and they are the same as
always--some great, some not-so-great. You can thank the many wineries
around here for nicely paved roads like this one (Foxen Canyon Rd)...

It should also be noted that the weather took an amazing turn for the better
once the discovery team showed up. They are having mid-70s this week whereas
the day before camp started, it dumped multiple inches of rain and was 20-30
degrees colder.

This is probably true, but then again, we know the names, but
possibly not how to spell them? Yes? No? I seem to remember there
being many arguments about the correct spelling of pro cyclists names
over the past few years I've been either lurking, reading, or posting
on here. Then again, maybe I'm just not that smart myself, which is
always a possibility.

"mispelling" Savol's name since he make the big splash at the Grio
(2000?) with his awesome display of chasing back via descendinhg
skills.

Now I think it's a joke from many who purposely misspell his name.

Djimoulidine Abdujaporov... Cippolini... Dierckxsens... Museeuw...

All tricky! Those are from (non enhanced, purely
biological/biochemical) memory and even I might have screwed up those
names. what are some more difficult names to spell, world famous
cyclists? (besides the impossible to spell or pronounce Lithuanian
names, especiaily the women)

Yes -- I spelled it both ways then deleted the good spelling.
What is the way to remember Italian surname spellings -- which letter
usually gets doubled... i.e., "Petacchi"?
Usually on the finaly syllable?
